Pompey in the Community is an independent charity aligned to Portsmouth Football Club. Harnessing the passion of the Club and its fans we aim to INSPIRE, SUPPORT and DELIVER positive change and equality of opportunity for young people and adults at risk across Portsmouth and surrounding areas. We work across six key themes: Youth Inclusion, Lifelong Learning, Health & Wellbeing, Education, Schools & Enterprise and Football & Sports Development.
Across all of our programmes, Pompey in the Community now engages with thousands of young people and vulnerable adults each year, and in so doing invests over £1.5 million into local communities within Portsmouth and the surrounding area. These funds are generated through grants, sponsorship, coaching income, and the never-ceasing support of a huge number of individuals and businesses within our local community. These individuals include a number of philanthropists who have chosen to remain anonymous - it goes without saying that we are extremely grateful for their tremendous generosity.
